2k3 chars for XP
I added this to the old Useful Tools Topic.
RmXp Resource Converter:
This tool converts resources from rm2k/2k3 into RMXP resources, I tested it out and it works pretty well. You select a game folder and it copies all of the resources in that folder to another in rmxp form, and there are a few different options to set.(Such as convert to 24-bit, set transparency pixel etc.)
Hope that helps, it should if you have the original rm2k3 resources.

Theres only two things you could do:
1. Remake your menue map into a picture menue
2. You could make it to where for each map, when you press the menue button before you teleport to your menue map, it sets the x and y coordinates for each monster events' position in different variables, then after you teleport back to the dungeon from the menue, it sets all the monster events back to their respective x and y coordiates.
This will require a bit of work though as you will have to go in and change all the event ids for each map.

I really wouldn't have a problem with that except for:
A. I used to like their rpgs
B. I don't own any of their stock.

I also do not condone the remaking a whole lot of good old games. If they feel like messing around with old classics, they should make some new games like them.
There also is the fact though that I can just play them with emulators and a downloaded copy from the internet, but I do understand if people want to legally play these great old games on a modern system. I have to admit though that I did buy FFVI Advanced for the massivish new dungeon and soul shrine.
Q. It makes little difference whether I alone buy them or not. Which is exactly what nearly anyone else that doesn't really like what's happening is thinking. So nothing's going to happen.

But, as a business, the primary responsibility of Squeenix is giving good returns to its shareholders. The highest-ups who make these descisions just crunch the numbers and sign paychecks and release games based on market analysis and such and such. I really don't think they care that there are a small-base of N.Americans that have grown tired of thier products, because as long as they're making a profit here, nothing is wrong to them.
Business is businnes.

-SquareEnix needs to split back into Squaresoft and Enix, instead of buying other smaller gaming companies stock to put them in a better position for another takeover.
We don't need them to become a Japanese EA, we need good Rpgs.
